Happening's from our last gathering:

Thanks to all who came! We had 16 members present and snacks were provided by the Hartman family. THANK YOU!

Members discussed a date for our annual rocket launch at the fairgrounds. We will meet at 6pm on June 14th. Please bring your rockets and 3 engines. Don't forget the bugspray and lawn chairs ! We will have a potluck meal before the launch. Please bring table service for your family, drinks, and a side dish. The club will provide the main course.

Everyone is welcome and we will have a brief meeting on June 14 as well! Please come, I promise you will have a blast!!!

It was also decided upon to use the money we have been raising at concession stands along with a possible NIFA grant next year to install 3 fans in the show arena. Brophy electric will do the work for a cost of around $1100. Our February concession stand yielded $295 and we are waiting a $ donation for the meal we provided to the SW 4 extension board. We are on our way!! The next concession stand will be on June 6. Spencer and Mason will be contacting families for help.

Thanks to all of those who helped carry all of the new sheep panels to the barn. They were very heavy and I am very proud of those who stayed to help when Amy P had to leave. THANK YOU! They look great, check out the photos posted on the blog for a closer look!

COMMUNITY SERVICE PROJECT: April 13, serving the meal at the SW 4 Extension Office. I will be sending an e-mail asking for a few food items. You may drop them off at the extension office so you don't need to make a special trip into town.

The sheep barn is done! What a surprise! We had some busy and very secretive bees complete the project. THANK YOU!!!

The canival was a success! Congratulations to the committee who designed the Key to the Future booth! They received third place for their efforts.
